Relacom to be in charge of part of Fujitsu’s network services

Relacom will take on some of Fujitsu’s national on-site installation, maintenance and repair services beginning on 1 May 2017. As a result, companies will be able to better meet the changing IT infrastructure service needs of their clients all over Finland as well as repair situations with critical response time. This change will also allow producing the services more efficiently across the nation.

Relacom will take on part of Fujitsu Finland’s installation, maintenance and repair services performed at the end customers’ premises as a result of a transfer of business. This change applies to 39 Fujitsu employees who will join Relacom as veteran staff.

  • By outsourcing its services, Fujitsu Finland makes the transition to a model for purchasing services as for its on-site maintenance services. In the future, the strategic objective of the Technical and Maintenance Service operations in charge of technical maintenance services is to focus on its core business operations. We acquire part of our operations from the best partners whose special expertise we highly value. Above all, outsourcing will enhance our flexibility, as it further improves our capability to be prepared for changes in volume, says Jari Keränen, Head of Technical and Maintenance Services at Fujitsu Finland.
